Notes:
An attempt at a White Rabbit Dark Ale copy. Wanted to try a form of "hop back" to obtain more hop aroma without killing the malty flavour of this beer. After boil, the hot wort was put into 15 litre cube with the fuggles hop bag, then sealed, and cooled in a freezer. Once cool enough, the wort was diluted to 23 litres and the yeast pitched. The first two days of brewing were particularly hot, well over 30 C - hope this hasn't affected the flavours too much. Smells good during fermentation.
Primed with 130 g sugar in 1 L hot water before bottling. Much more efficient. Not a bad attempt at the target beer. Nice malty flavours, a tiny bit lighter in colour than desired, but still very nice to drink.
